It’s more musical to be wrong and go with everybody else’s wrong and make it right from that point … than it is to stay right when everybody else is wrong … just to prove that you know where you are. … That’s actuallly a very arrogant attitude … because in trying to show your knowledge you’re really exhibiting your ignorance … in terms of your musicianship.
