„It will save time if you have previously learned decision theory, probability theory, and mathematical logic. We will also be impressed if you have previously picked up neuroscience, evolutionary biology, physics, information theory, computer science, cognitive psychology, non-GOFAI, or anything else you can successfully argue as relevant. You must somehow-or-other show evidence that you are technically competent in existing science and mathematics before we will consider that you might be capable of original discoveries. You must be a math talent who can think in code. You must have extraordinarily high fluid intelligence; you will need to learn, unlearn, and do it fast. All else is negotiable. Emotionally stable weirdos are entirely welcome.“
